Where Chaos Met The Cosmos

 The air was endued with a tinge of musk that day,
When no things were right and my mind was in disarray.

And along came you, eyes like glistening berries in the downpour,
And a smile which defies any metaphor.

My dormant heart started beating with every stride you took,
And there....there it was, that pulchritudinous look,
Like a beam of light, seraphic and straight from the cosmos,
And my soul traversed emotions unknown and paths uncrossed.

Now as we walk down the aisle, hand in hand, I look at us in awe,
A symphony of souls, who eternally will call each other their home.

War's Echo

  His feet squelched on the grass, Soaked with blood and cries of his comrades. His eyes welled, at the smell and his grief. His ears bled, with the eternally ringing shouts and screams. Garnished was the night sky, With the stars and souls of the dead. The sepulchral tone of the wind, A quiet assuagement to his wounds as it blew by. His hand, permanently clasped on the hilt of his sword, Finally gave up as it bluntly stabbed the earth. And as the final witness of this catastrophic diastrophe, His spirit ascended to join heaven's hearth.
